About us... In the beginning
... when Dr. Yongchun Tang and Mr. Patrick Berglund met it became very clear they both wanted to make a difference in the oil and gas industry. The year was 2012 and both men had been in the industry over 20+ years. Dr. Tang wanted to bring Geochemistry to the field to help the geologist and engineers with better ways to get better production. Mr. Berglund wanted to bring extensive training to the young professional geologist and increase the professionalism of the field geologist position (mud loggers) while closing the gap on the great crew change with new talent and helping Dr. Tang introduced novel ideas of geochemistry ie. Isotope analysis as a means to understand the formations better and enhance oil recovery. The two together create a unique team to accomplish this feat. They both know if they don't set the highest goals, compete at the highest level, train the best people and love what they do, nothing will change.
